SOLID GONE + WOODY WOODHAM - October 1st, 2013

On our first night at our new home upstairs at The Prince Albert in Trafalgar Street we play host to three fine musicians.

DAN EDWARDS & MAX CRAWFORD  - who go by the name SOLID GONE are superlative string pickers, playing bluegrass songs and old timey tunes on guitar, mandolin & fiddle in truly authentic fashion.

The other featured guest is ALAN “WOODY” WOODHAM who will be launching his new album, Hope Gap. By day he is one of the country’s best known one man bands, having played innumerable high-end corporate venues, and for an A-list roster of celebrities including crown princes, not to mention guest appearances on a host of TV programmes. But what is largely undiscovered by the world at large is his superb guitar playing across a wide range of blues and ragtime songs, not to mention a back catalogue of his own well crafted original material.

Some surprise guests may also put in an appearance and there will, of course, be contributions from the talented singers and players who regularly support us.
