This will be a long overdue visit from Brighton’s finest roots quartet.

Founded by American fiddle player MICHI MATHIAS their instrumental textures and vocal harmonies capture the essence of the old-timey repertoire.

DAN EDWARDS’ extensive experience as a performer in Oklahoma and Texas is evident in his mastery of the frailing banjo style, while BEN McGUIRE’s bass playing is informed by his expertise as a bluegrass banjo picker. Completing the line-up is guitarist JAIME REGAN, known elsewhere as a highly successful singer / songwriter.

They describe their repertoire thus: “Lively dance tunes, risqué jug-band songs, weird "crooked" tunes, or gospel songs in three-part harmony.”
